Yuvi, we still love you

After all is said and done, when in form, Yuvraj Singh is a MATCHWINNER and a terrific ODI and T20 specialist. I have always admired his amazing ability to clobber the ball to such long distance with an immaculate mix of power and timing. He has been an excellent fielder, though injury has made him look a little more ordinary. I fully support Yuvraj except in the matters of captaincy. Put your ego aside, my man. It was really sad to see the look on Yuvi's face yesterday. He was trying his best and he just took too much pressure on himself to PROVE to everyone that he can captain. He felt that he MUST win against MSD. MSD is not your enemy, brother. MSD-Yuvi make an excellent team, if Yuvi can just let go of this crazy idea planted in his head by Daddy Cool. It was bittersweet for me after that Raina six. Elation - awe - admiration; and then looking at poor Yuvi: pity - sadness - disappointment. :((

I don't know if I'd go to such an extent to claim that he's the best batsman to watch when he's on song but when he's in an aggressive mood, he can take apart any bowling irrespective of what they're trying and thats fun to watch. :D He, along with Gambhir now, is the best puller of the ball in our team. Its a shame he was out of form in Australia - if he was in form, we could've seen something special.

Guest Hiten.

Yuvraj should seriously forget about captaincy for the moment. Concentrate on your batting and everything will fall in places. India desperately needs this guy to click because without Tendulkar our batting line up is fragile and weakened.

I dont think he is junk in T20s. However, he can learn how to spell humility. The snobby, over arrogant guy can learn some humility. Oh, and he has a LOT to learn about Test cricket as well :D
:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Coming from someone who lays into Tendulkar at the drop of a hat giving a rope to a "performer" like Yuvraj is well and truly and funny!

Eh? I'm saying he is performing poorly in Tests. Only doing well in T20 and doing ok in ODIs. But he needs to go back and work in domestics. Tendulkar and 2nd Inn chasing under pressure is a different story.

Tests are played over 2 innings and it's usually the irst innings which decides the outcome.

Talent and ability apart I'll only start taking Yuvraj Singh seriously if he starts scoring consistently in test cricket. Till that point in time he's only as good as the next international player.
