Dhoni batted poorly in the last few overs and the move to send in chamara. They had plenty of wickets in their hand and should hve gone for a plenty more. I guess he was playing for his average.
are u mad..he played really well..Watson and Tanvir were very gud..give credit where it is due man..the only bad decision he made was sending kapu before Badri..but that too this Kapu guy is a international player..so u shd expect him to play well..it wasn MSDs fault at all..u are jus here to blame him..

Instead of crucifying Dhoni chennai fans should be happy that they came so close to winning. Last week this time CSK was struggling to even making it to semi's. So stop finding someone whom you can blame for your lose.

Chennai had enough runs on the board, after all - it went down to the last ball. Madharlichutharan and Balaji were the ones who really lost it for Chennai. Both of them bowled tripe and got punished for it
Not all bowlers are gonna bowl well. Looking at the situation, when chennai had so many wickets, they should ve got more. AFTERALL its twnety 20 and not any amounts of run are nuff. You gotta go acc to the situation and chennai could have easily got 20 runs mroe had dhoni batted better and played strokes. and badrinath before silva.

He batted average and looking at the match situation, it was an poor innings IMHO. Not being biased

chennai lost theory part II It was South Africa effect. Chennai had two south africans (Ntini and Morkel). whereas RR had none. So two chokers v/s one. They had to lose :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Here comes pathetic Yuvi fans to crucify Dhoni, of course he made a mistake by sending in Kapu... but It takes a great effort to come this far, with the kind of team he had after the departure of oram, Haydos, & hussey. He has done a remarkable job! Of course there are errors that led to the loss. They will have to sort it out when they come next season, but it is not the time to point fingers. Even after the Kapu mess there where a number of occasions where chennai could have thumped RR but others messed it. But it is just not the time to point fingers. And Dhoni has really impressed me with the way he handled the situation after the loss. When was the last time you have seen a team get into a huddle after a loss? They are shattered and normally disperse away. But Dhoni really got them together and showed they are together in defeat! And they way Dhoni avoided the question on the turning point was also good. Many would have obliged and pointed one out! But Dhoni realised doing so would crucify the ones involved in those situations! This should effectively shut the doors on the people who think Dhoni blames others and takes credit away from others! Remember I am not saying Dhoni hasn't blamed others at times but he has learned well... thats good!
