Re: Check out Bookies and Indiancricketfans WC section Nicely done, Ravi. What we need to do now is PUBLICIZE these features on the WC 07 front page. Put individual slogans with links, prompting the viewer to click on them. The articles (apart from one or two of them) can go below these links. OR you can take them off altogether and make a separate page for them (thereby adding a new button on the menu titled "Articles"). Your call. That page will be getting a lot of hits when the tourney begins; and you want to make sure that the casual viewer knows where/how to access everything.

Hmmm... I think I'll try at least in one match. Though I'm a terrible gambler! :hic:

This idea seems good. Can you please explain it with an example Predator?

Good point we need to have all these links that are available here over there too. I can do that no worries.

Just noticed this and saw it on the WC site too. 1. What is a fileshare? 2. What is the difference between posting a page and posting a story? 3. What is the difference between referring a user and inviting a user? 4. How would you know that the invited user registered?

Ravi, That book-makers link is not opening for me-----neither from your post nor from the top menu!!
Try now from my first post Chandan. You could even use one of the following links : http://www.indiancricketfans.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=bookies or http://indiancricketfans.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=bookies or http://72.36.144.77/modules.php?name=Forums&file=bookies

1. As the name suggest sharing a file. Of course it is to the discreation of the moderators what files will not be deleted after the files is uploaded. You can upload a file that can be shared or download by other users. Files include such as photos, audio, video et al 2. A page does not show details of time and date of posting an article. It also does not show the author name in the short snippet. Story not only shows the timestamp of posting the article, it also shows the author name. 3. No difference at all. They work similarly but referring a user can be done from inside an article whereas invite can be sent out from the menu. 4. When the user registers he/she will be given a unique number that has reference to the referer ID. When this is input it traces the referer. Anyways it is best to use the "Recommend us" from the top menu of this website.
