triam Posted July 28, 2008 Share Posted July 28, 2008 We do not know who did this Nor the why’s, when’s and the wherefore’s We do know it is our blood that bleeds We do cry and shed tears galore Be it the dusty streets of Ahmedabad Or the swanky mansions of Bengalooru Not the time to say murdabad Nor to beat your chests with “I told you†Is that not our blood that is being spilled Is that not our kin, that we mourn Isnt it time for humanity to rise To end all this wrathful scorn? The people whose lives were taken They were no different than you and me The same dreams and the same tenets The same troubles and the same visage So, let us not fight and bicker Nor point fingers hither and thither Remember those poor men and women Whose lives were snatched without a rhyme or reason. This is not the time for our inquisitive minds But, surely the time for our heart-full thoughts So, lets all unite and against these evil winds A moment to the deceased, yes it includes hindus, muslims one and all. Soon we will have rockets going to moon....now that's called prosperity. 30% of all doctors, scientists are Indians in USA......and that's how you earn respect from the world.
