King
I hate this particular umpire, he's about 10 times worse than Bucknor. Firstly he was sacked from the panel 2-3 years ago for the reason he was crap. Why the hell did they bring him back? In fact he has gone worse. I was watching the Aus v Scot game and he showed he has come back with more crap. Louder the shout easier he falls prey and lifts his finger without a thought. This fella is going to cost few games and if India has him then god save India. He was way too poor against India those days. NZ has copped a lot from this man too. Why the heck can't ICC get some new umpires than get this proven failure? Link to comment
Birbal3
Re: Ashocker DeSilva, why is he back and he's more crap now Because he gives the appearance of being a Brownie...but is really a Coconut...? Either that or maybe ICC wanted subcontinental teams to long for the return of Hair.... :hic: :hic: Link to comment
Birbal3
Re: Ashocker DeSilva, why is he back and he's more crap now There are at least half a dozen Indian umpires better than this fellow.. This is one area where Sunil Gavaskar should concentrate on making some changes... He is on the Cricket committee that overseas the nomination and hiring of Umps... IIRC.. about time an Indian ump was chosen... It is such a SHAME that we are the BIGGEST Test nation...yet have no one who can oversee even a Bangladesh v. Zimbabwe Test match... :wall: Link to comment
King
Re: Ashocker DeSilva, why is he back and he's more crap now It is a shame to Indian cricket there is not one umpire. I wonder how that can happen with so much cricket being played in India. Surely there must be few umpires that are way better than Ashocker. To be honest I feel our club cricket umpires won't be as bad as Ashocker. Link to comment
