Pak bowling coach Mushtaq breaks nose

Recommended Posts

KINGSTON: Pakistan's bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed, a former international leg-spinner, was taken to hospital on Thursday with a suspected broken nose. "Mushtaq was hit by a throw which hurt his forehead and nose. He is in hospital and we are waiting for X-ray reports," Pervez Mir, the Pakistan media manager, said. Mushtaq, a member of Pakistan's victorious World Cup team in 1992, said he was given two stitches to the wound and suffered a minor fracture. "I was going to collect the ball and it bobbled and then hit me," he said. Mushtaq fell to the ground on impact and he was immediately surrounded by the rest of the players. He said the incident would not affect him doing his job for the team in the Caribbean. Pakistan, who lost their opening match to the West Indies here on Tuesday, face Ireland in their next game on Saturday. :lmao:
