Harbhajan without Powar/Kumble is useless

All he does is keep the run rate under check at around 4-4.5. Does not remotely look like picking up a wicket. It completely screws up our middle overs bowling where the batting side just accumulates runs, keeps wickets in hand, and slaughters our pacers at the death. Or as in today's game when the captain wants to take wickets just runs up and bowls pies. ALL BD spinners without exception looked more threatening than the over rated lead spinner.

Re: Harbhajan without Powar/Kumble is useless They took Kumble to the World cup and didn't play him against Bangladesh. How much worse can the selection get? Have you heard of Sri Lanka dropping Murali for Bandara or Australia dropping Warnie for Hogg?

For two reasons Ravi, H Singh has been performing well in One days and Kumble has not been in the seen for a while second one is H Singh is a better batsmen(funny he went for a duck today) But Personally I think Kumble can bowl better deliveries than H Singh when its needed the most. :duh:

Re: Harbhajan without Powar/Kumble is useless Big mistake not to take Powar to the WC. He always picked up wickets in the middle overs or helped Harbhajan get some in his kitty. Play Kumble as first choice spinner in the WC and Powar afterwards. Keep Harbhajan away from the ODI team.

Bhajji is trash outside India!!! He loses his mojo as soon as he puts on his seat belts on the plane !!! :wall: Respect Kumble's abilities and give him a chance. Man, has single-handedly won more tests for India than any other player in the recent past!!!

Re: Harbhajan without Powar/Kumble is useless bhajji.. hosh mai nahi josh mai khelta hai.. and whenever he gets a wicket, his celebration, like giving flying kiss to departing batsman, just annoys me.. what the hell is that?? agarkar and bhajji both have been playing for 5-6 years or more now and they still dont take responsibility as a batter.. could have stood their ground for bit longer.. zak on other hand is becoming responsible.. IMO, kumble is not effective either..
