rahulrulezz
I have been advocating from start that this guy is a genuine genuine matchwinner.... this guy is a pure butcher....Yousuf Pathan deserves to be permanent in our T20s and ODIs and should eventually be promoted in Test matches... the guys hits harder than both Sehwag and Dhoni.. he can be a genuine hitter India has been lacking in their later middle order forever... and dont forget his spinninng skills... the guy is the main strike bowler for Baroda(which itself is one of the strongest Ranji team out there)... hopefully Dhoni will trust him and put Yousuf permanently in our team...once Sachin comes in, they can kick out Sharma who is most overrated player but sadly it will be Yousuf the real Pathan... Our team needs Yousuf Pathan like genuine matchwinners.. ppl say it was Warne and Tanvir for Rajasthan Royal success in IPL but it was Y.Pathan ... fineleg
There is no "permanent" job for anyone. As long as he is reasonably consistent, good strike rate and average he'll be in, else he'll find himself on the fringe again. He needs to be given a couple of series full run, and then evaluated based on that. The only pseudo-permanent job is being held by only one SRT. That'll be the last one, no more permanent job hand outs.

cowboysfan
calm down guys-we need some repeat performances to trust these sloggers.by their definition they are unreliable.
vadodaravictor
He just had a one good knock. Let him play few more like this to assert his talents. Though I would like to see Baroda players in national team, I have rational expectations. You should be in the team only if you perform.

Sachinism
Top class innings from Yusuf, so glad he was given another chance. He showed what he is capable of, he would have had a lot more had the tail provided better support
rahulrulezz
i agree that he needs to perform this thing consistently but for that he needs to be given a consistent run...problem is that he always comes after 45 overs and never gets enuff chance/balls to showcase his talent... sad part is that you guys still consider him a slogger even though he is a very good batsman who can turn into ruthless butcher anytime... bharat297
Haha ... a few months later if this guy fails ... the same guys will be saying "Is Yusuf Pathan overrated?" LOL In any case ... he did well today. Im not getting carried away though. He still has a long way to go. Oh yeah ... and ROFL @ Rohit Sharma being called overrated. Oh yeah ... and ROFL @ Rohit Sharma being called overrated. it is right..i dont believe in the state crap but you gotta agree that just coz Sharma is the only mumbai player(other than Sachin), he gets this free bit of advertisement from commentators... when was last time anyone said Raina or Gambhir are better than Rohit.... all you hear from commentators is that Rohit is next generation batsmen or next Sachin... you gotta look at Rohits domestic average and even international matches average..he is just all style ... players like Tiwary, Badri, Dhawan have been performing consistently in domestic and are way better than Rohit... on the other hand about Y.Pathan, he needs to be given enough chances like R.Sharma..just coz Pathan doesnt do those stupid fashinable front foot defense shot or feet movement, it doesnt mean that he doesnt have a class...
