Mr. Wicket
has GOT to name Gambhir among its cricketers of the year with the next release. And probably Ishant "BLOODY LEGEND FOLKZ" Sharma as well. Link to comment
Predator_05
Sehwag hasn't won it yet. Link to comment
punjabi_khota
I think their policy to only mention players who either excel in county or playing against England. Edit: Yup. From wikipedia: "The Wisden Cricketers of the Year are cricketers selected for the honour by the annual publication Wisden Cricketers' Almanack, based primarily on their "influence on the previous English season."[1] " Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Sehwag hasn't won it yet. Then him too, for three of the finest innings I've seen this year -and a triple hundred too! Link to comment
Kartikey
U have to do well in the English County Season in England to be in the list. Examples are Zak and Chanderpaul who excelled in England in 2007. Although VVS was an exception. Link to comment

It is now back to English season only, but with seperate sections on 40 cricketers and a leading cricketer of the world. Link to comment
