Gaurav
Re: Group B : The latest standing Looks like Chinese to me due to the jumbled code. Maybe a screen grab from this page? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cricket/tables/default.stm Anyway we just need to beat SL plain and simple :wall: Link to comment

King
Re: Group B : The latest standing I have a question on NRR. If Bermuda scores about 100 runs and Bangladesh chases it in 12 overs will Bangladesh not get a NRR of 5 ? Link to comment
Gaurav
Re: Group B : The latest standing Oh nice Ravi. It's lot more detailed as well. Link to comment
Birbal3
Re: Group B : The latest standing Let us suppose India win after chasing down scoring 250 in about 50 overs....what margin does Bangladesh have to beat Bermuda to get NRR better than india...? Link to comment
DesiChap
Re: Group B : The latest standing Bangla needs more than 500 run margin. Forget the NRR it is history we need to beat SL plain and simple. Link to comment
Gaurav
Re: Group B : The latest standing Yeah some smart ass should work out few scenarios for us dimwits :wtg: Edit- Yeah it's pointless. Link to comment
The Outsider
Re: Group B : The latest standing No Ravi, NRR will be spread over all matches and not only the Bermuda-BD match. In your scenario, the conceded for BD will become: 501+100=601 runs in 96+50=146 overs giving a net conceded run rate of 601/146=4.12 Their "for" will become: 304+101= 405 runs in 94.3+12=106.3 overs giving a net "for" run rate of 405/106.3=3.80 And a net run rate of 3.8-4.12 = -0.32, still FAAAR short of India's 2.5 To put it simply, it is impossible for BD to pip us on the NRR. King
Re: Group B : The latest standing Desichap is on the money. Even if Bangladesh score 500 against Bermuda and bowl them out for 50 they will end up with a NRR of 1.8 in the end. I think it's all over for Bangladesh if India beats Sri Lanka that is. DesiChap
Re: Group B : The latest standing Assume SL bats 1st scores 249. India takes all 50 overs to chase and get to 250, then Bangladesh has to beat Bermuda by a margin of 450 runs to get in ahead of us !!!! Link to comment
