How much besthi is it for India that the tiny island nation of Sri Lanka which has a population of 20 million has two genuine fast bowlers capable of bowling 90mph consistently and getting wickets, whereas India a cricket mad population with over a billion people has none. Our bowling has been pathetic this world cup. Bowlers like Munaf, Zaheer and Agarkar are perfectly capable of bowling 140-145kph but choose to take it easy at 130kph. They should be dropped for this lazy attitude just like Irfan Pathan was dropped for bowling at woman speeds. What is it with Indian bowlers who start of at a decent pace but then once their place is guaranteed they drop it down a couple of notches.

Re: Sri Lanka fast bowlers zaheer and agarkar were in the range of 135-140 consistently.. but yeah..we need atleast one 150+ speed wala bowler.. there were some news of two bowlers from kashmir.. one from Punjab.. i am sure...with proper grooming...we can develop some tearaway fast bowlers... a bowler from Haryana will be good...all pace no brain.. :hic:

Re: Sri Lanka fast bowlers Yeah the bowler from Punjab is VRV Singh and the one from Kashmir is Abid Nabi. Both were rumoured to be fast but in fact bowl at Munaf/Sreesanth speeds. Not the rumoured 150kph that we were led to believe. Malinga looks like someone's done some kind of experiment on him. The guy looks like a possessed madman.
