philcric
I think i got it this time they all have been selected as Wisden cricketer of the year... Well,, there'd be hundreds of cricketers who have been selected as wisden cricketers of the year ? I'm sure there has to be something more unique to that team ... Link to comment

Donny
I'll put a second one in so you can have a choice. Call the first one #1 and this one, #2 - when replying. What do the players in this team have in common ? Matt Hayden Andrew Strauss Ramnaresh Sarwan Mohammad Yousuf JP Duminy Marcus North Jacob Oram Denesh Ramdin Daniel Vettori Fidel Edwards James Anderson 12th. man. Andrew Symonds Link to comment
The Outsider
I thought of 2 things : 1. They held the record for the most appearances for their country at some point, but a more careful perusal negates that. 2. They held the record for most consecutive appearances at some point, but that doesn't seem to hold either. My guess is it's some record against Pakistan since there are no Pakistanis in the list, but not sure what it would be. One question - is it for separate batting/bowling records or they genuinely have something in common? Link to comment
The Outsider
Oh and I also think it's a crap team selection to have Gurusinha ahead of Dravid since both of them qualify. Link to comment
dial_100
I think I have the answer... but it looked so obvious.. Link to comment

Donny
Oh and I also think it's a crap team selection to have Gurusinha ahead of Dravid since both of them qualify. Sunny and Anil K are in there for India. What's the problem ? Mate, if you weren't so obsessed with putting me down, you might just have seen what a big clue Guru is. I did put Anil in ahead of Murali and Warne - both of whom also qualify. You adjudicated on both your guesses, correctly. Link to comment
dial_100
Do you want to check Malcolm Marshal once... I am not sure if he fits there.... or you are just trying to adjust him there??? Link to comment
Donny
Malcolm Marshall qualifies. You're on the wrong track, amigo. Link to comment
