amits
will atul sharma make his debut in this warm-up match??? or will he still be kept under wraps. if he plays, imagine the commentary going like this - "and the news from out here is that rajasthan royals have won the toss & they have elected to bowl 1st. atul sharma, a right arm fast bowler will open the bowling. so here we have atul sharma to bowl the 1st ball. and now atul sharma comes in & runs in to bowl. woahhhhh!!! is this true!!!!! that ball just clocked 164 kph. is there some mistake with the speed gun??????? we will know it later" after some minutes "atul sharmas latest ball has clocked 171.3 kph. already 1 of cape cobras batsman has been injured by getting hit on his wrists" so the big question now, will atul sharma make his debut tomorrow in this match against cape cobras??? or will he be kept under wraps for rajasthan royals to unleash him in their 1st ipl match???????? ludhianvi
I wont mind if he bowls 85miles with some skill. I'll be happy with a bowler that can bowl upto 85 miles and has skills. A 100miles bowlers without any variation is going to be cannon-fodder for the batsmen. In one his interviews, Shoaib Akhtar mentioned his strength is the inswinging delivery and that a fast bowler who is just going to bowl straight and fast will be found out by the batsmen. Btw, match starts Saturday April 11th 1430 GMT , 10:30 am EST , 7:30 am PST , 8:00 pm IST (India)

gaurav92
Rajasthan Royals v/s Cape Cobras- Preview Its T20 time before IPL to get used to T20 for a month and a quarter...:winky: The practice match is on......but we love T20 match even though its a practice match and has no real glory..:haha: Well thats the beauty of this T20 isnt it ? :yay: Cape Cobras lock horns with Warne's 11....or may i call it Rajasthan Royals :--D Here is the preview The Rajasthan Royals, winners of the inaugural IPL, will take on the Cobras, champions of South Africa's Pro20 series this season, in two Twenty20 matches ahead of the second season of the IPL. The two games are scheduled for April 11 and 12 and have been billed as the "Clash of Champions". The Cobras have a strong line-up with several players with international experience, including Herschelle Gibbs, JP Duminy, Charl Langeveldt, Justin Ontong and Monde Zondeki. Rajasthan will make Cape Town their base during the run-up to the IPL's second season, which runs from April 18 to May 24, following a strategic partnership with the Cobras and Western Province Cricket association, owners of the Newlands Stadium. "We are delighted to be working with the Cobras at Newlands during our IPL tournament preparation. It's a great venue, and the "Clash of the Champions" over the Easter weekend will be an exciting contest," Manoj Badale, chairman and co-owner of Rajasthan, said. "It is the first time the Royals have played since winning the IPL tournament and it will be great to see the team back in action." Both teams have also agreed to work together on future cricketing and sponsorship opportunities to further sporting links between India and South Africa. In addition to the two matches, the partnership will also include player exchange to develop young talent. The Cape Cobras have got a great T20 unit so we have a great match in our hands Squad link is here http://content.cricinfo.com/cobras/content/current/squad/368219.html Tight game may be i hope Rajasthan wins here
