ViruRulez Posted June 4, 2009 Share Posted June 4, 2009 New Delhi, May 28: Consumer durables major LG India today said it will be one of the official sponsors for all cricket events organised by the International Cricket Council till 2015, including the upcoming T20 World Cup. "Cricket is more than religion in India and we being one of the largest consumer durables companies in the country will like to associate ourselves with cricket, now we are extending the sponsorship of the cricket to 2015," LG Electronics India Ltd MD Moon B shin told reporters. Cricket is one such sport where the entire country cheer for them. We are keeping the brand image of LG in mind and would like to associate us with the game in future also, he added. LG has been associated with the International Cricket Council since 2002. The company has been present in the Indian market for the last 12 years. It had clocked a turnover of Rs 10,700 crore last year. Link to comment
