youngindia
I am not too perturbed by the loss.there is a lot of quality talent coming up and as long they areproperly nurtured, we wil win many of this tournos. there are certain sore points though. Indian team is a batting team and remains a batting heavy team. to think about allrounder sake for the sake of it is a dumb idea. the aussie team didn't have a single decent allrounder during their invincible reign .then why this nonsense about allrounders? the strategy of five bowlers is rubbish and has to be done away with forever. also the team didn't enjoy defending their title. they turned up lethargic and tight.this is not good enough. things that let us down. 1. out of form key bowlers and batmen- zaheer, ishant, gambhir and dhoni. 2. juniors like raina being exposed for inexperience in alien conditions. 3. captain's flawed ideas and strategy. 4. wrong mindset Now its time to test some more of our bench strength. i am sure we will have pretty powerful team in 3 years provided the right people are under radar Link to comment
CricketGirl
Dhoni needs to build some bridges with individuals in his team as well - if the alleged rift between sehwag and dhoni is true he needs to build that relationship back up!! The team building needs to come fast though!! Link to comment
