Don Sharma
Neymar agrees to join Chelsea Santos striker Neymar has agreed to join Premier League champions Chelsea, according to Brazil newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo. The report claims a meeting was held in New York in the presence of the player, his father, agent Wagner Ribeiro, Santos president Luiz Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro, Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck and agent Pini Zahavi. Neymar agreed to sign for the Blues, who will pay €25 million to Santos for his services. The Brazil international has been hotly linked with the English giants and a deal appeared to have fallen through after Santos rejected a €20million bid from Chelsea. But the move is set to be completed after the transfer fee was agreed upon during the meeting in New York. An official announcement is expected to be made in the coming days. http://www.espnstar.com/football/premier-league/news/detail/item482986/Neymar-agrees-to-join-Chelsea/ ========================================================= 25 million is a lot of money for a 18 year old! *yikes* ========================================================= Barcelona Agree Deal With Liverpool For Javier Mascherano Spanish giants Barcelona are set to land Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano, after striking a deal with the Reds, according to reports. The deal will be comprised of a player-plus-cash offer, with the Anfield outfit set to receive midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb and approximately €15 million for the Argentina captain, according to Ole. The report also claims that the player's agent has already met with Barcelona officials, and confirmation of the deal could come in the next few days. Mascherano had recently expressed his desire to leave the Reds and join the Spanish side, or reunite with former coach Rafael Benitez at European champions Inter. The Blaugrana were seeking another midfielder, after Yaya Toure departed the Camp Nou for Manchester City during the summer. ========================================================= In other news, Balotelli is on the verge of signing for Man City. IKnowU
debt? :hmmmm: so this debt and loan business prevails in football clubs too? Not really debt. Real Madrid has heavy government funding and fanbase. But the government funding gives them the edge opposed to other clubs Even Barcelona has it, but they are smarter and wiser then Madrid in both money and talent. Huh! I can't quite understand some of these managers' tactics. Poor Bellamy was City's player of the year last season. Its a clash of egos. I was expecting him to go to Fulham following Mark Hughes, but he has chosen to go back to Cardiff where his family is based.
