King
Re: CNN IBN: Spin coach ? India first needs spinners before looking for a spin coach. Very true. I suppose they may not be hiring a spin coach to travel with the team but must be looking for setting up a spin bowling center or something. That is what I heard. I don't see any reason why they can't have state of art centers for spin bowling and fielding ala MRF fast bowler's academy. Link to comment
gs
Re: CNN IBN: Spin coach ? India first needs spinners before looking for a spin coach. Maybe the coach can himself bowl till they find one :hic: Link to comment
apeeman
Re: CNN IBN: Spin coach ? how about a coach for each player while they are at it. Thts the only thing that has not been done so far and how about a. a selection coach b. a president coach c. a vice-president coach d. a coach for a coach(now wouldnt that be funny) so basically the board is saying, 16 ppl with about 22 to train them. Hell , when india goes abroad, they are going to find it real trouble to book hotels and flights. So india has a pvt jet for the team needs. man this thing is getting weirder and weirder Link to comment
Rajiv
Re: CNN IBN: Spin coach ? After enough slack for not appointing an all-round coach, BCCI has walked the fine line and appointed a new Coach. Greg was the only one who promised not to sue them if they printed his picture The state of the art coach has 1) Pre-Designed Player Seats ( Seniors sit at the back so they can escape during emergencies ) 2) Each seat has Coin Operated Video Screens which has a) Archived Performances ( win and lose ) b) Techniques on Batting/Bowling and Fielding c) A Trivia Game where the winner can get an extra endorsement or a batting position of their choice Raj Singh Dugarpur has been appointed as the Coach Driver until 2011 WC, Players will travel for 1 Month with the Coach before every tour Sharad Pawar has mentioned that the the coach will travel around the country in the year 2010 and stop at Wankhede Stadium for the Presentation Ceremony; he added that his was necessary so the players could realize the number of people they represent Ravi Shastri was not available for comments, while robin singh and Vekatesh prasad are gathering videos for the much anticipated seats Dravid was happy with this appointment as the new BCCI policy states the Coach will be responsible for all losses With this new appointment, BCCI has solved the problems of Indian Cricket, the Sponsors and its own administration Pawar has promised a coach for selectors as well We have to wait and watch Link to comment
