Sachinism
Out.' date=' because stumping off a wide is allowed. But by then the batting team has already won. So they will win by 1 wicket[/quote'] Closest answer is this. Situation #3 Answer The ball will be called wide straight away and give them the one run they require for a victory. Once that run is added the game is over and the stumping is irrelevant, the batsman will remain not out. You will receive half the total prize money Link to comment

Sachinism
Situation #4 A batting side in a county game score 400 runs and claim all bonus points and decide to declare. As both teams are leaving the ground, an embarrassed scorer comes running to inform the umpires than there has been an error and they only had 399. What do you do? Prize $10000 ICF Link to comment
rahuliverpool
The umpires just move on and the official score now becomes 400. Link to comment

Nothing. I wait for the umpire's decision, come to ICF and whine about the incompetency of the English scorers. Link to comment
Sachinism
^^ When I say what would you do, I mean what would you do if you were the umpire, as this thread is called 'You are the umpire' Pay attention :hitler: Link to comment
DomainK
I think since the teams (especially the batsmen) have not left field, the declaration is not yet in effect. So the umpire (me) can inform the captain and ask him if he still wanted to declare. Link to comment

Dravid
if they are walking of the field, that means its over.. 400 stays.. something to do with umpire taking off the bails, and that mean its done? Link to comment
Sachinism
Situation #4 Answer Once a declaration has been made, it cannot be reversed. The team will have a final score of 399. Link to comment
Sachinism
Situation #5 The helmet of a close fielder has been discarded behind the wicket keeper. The next ball the batsman edges a ball high above the keeper, who stands on and jumps off the helmet to claim the catch. What decision do you give? Prize: $30000 ICF Link to comment
