In WI, Bangla ready gameplan for India UNI Sunday, April 22, 2007 23:18 IST BRIDGETOWN: Expecting India to come hard at them after plotting India?s ouster from the World Cup, Bangladesh wasted no time in starting a three-day camp in the shores of Atlantic Ocean from Saturday to give the visiting team some tough time. Bangladesh are leaving Barbados for home on April 24 but they do not want to waste three valuable days after an eventful campaign in the World Cup where they ended at seventh position. Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar told media here that since they would be having very less time before Tour of India, they would like to improve their fitness and fielding. ?This is an area of concern for us. After one and half month long trip at the World Cup, naturally the boys would be looking for some rest at home and that would be a minimum of seven days. We are reaching Dhaka by April 26 afternoon and India is arriving on May 7. So we have very less time,? said Bashar. Coach Dev Whatmore, who is leaving Bangladesh after the India tour has ordered three sessions a day training in the sea beaches near Hotel Hilton here. ?Why waste three days of valuable times as we have nothing else to do? We want to win at least a one day and draw one of the test matches,?? Bashar added modestly, while admitting that India would come back hard at them as they were the chief cause behind the pre-mature ouster of Dravid and Co from the World Cup.
