Worst celebrated World Cup finals win ever?????

I'm sure the players were way too elated about the win but to celebrate so many times must have been hard. A world cup win celebration happens at the spur of the moment when that last wicket falls or the last ball is bowled. Here it had to happen few times considering none knew when the team was announced as a winner. When the ultimate ball of the 36th over was bowled the joy was a bit curtailed and you can't blame the Aussies for that. How many times can anyone bring out the spur of the moment joy??? Luckily sense prevailed and the umpires let the game go on rather than holding off till tomorrow. Imagine the Aussies celebrating tomorrow after 3 overs. I'm sure they would have smiled lightly and got on to the next plane home.

Re: Worst celebrated World Cup finals win ever????? Three errors by the umpires: 1. Bringing the players off for rain that was clearly going to blow away, and thus disrupting the flow of the match. 2. Resuming the match without ascertaining the revised D/L target. 2. Offering the light to SL, knowing fully well that the dead match could technically drag on to day 2, and then making themselves look like fools by resuming the match in pitch darkness, once they realised their mistake.
