Re: Batsmen who have never scored a dull test century

Laxman.... Rarely changes his style?
His hundreds at Faisalabad vs Pakistan and at Ahmedabad vs SL last season were dull as dishwater. No longer is he is a free-flowing, boundary-hitting batsman. In recent years, he has spurned whatever talent he has and adopted the approach of a Dravid-esque run-accumulator.

Re: Batsmen who have never scored a dull test century I can't believe we forgot this guy... Chris Cairns' 5 test centuries; - vs Zimbabwe, '95 - 120 off 96 balls, 10x4, 9x6 - vs India, '99 - 126 off 200 balls, 16x4, 3x6 - vs Australia '99 - 109 off 138 balls, 14x4, 2x6 - vs Zimbabwe '01 - 124 off 174 balls, 13x4, 3x6 - vs South Africa '04 - 158 off 171 balls, 18x4, 7x6 87 sixes (3rd highest of all time) in just 62 Tests ! Other batsmen to have hit 80+ sixes (ie; Gilchrist, Richards etc) took about 20/30 more tests.
