The recent Gilly incident reminded me to revisit this article. Read how well the writer tries his best to defend Atherton while everyone with one look could see how dishonest and cheating Atherton was. Till date we talk about Akram, Rahul and even Tendulkar but the media seems to have made sure this incident has been lost in the memory lane. Re: An old article but read it for chauvinistic journalism BTW sachin was pulling the gras stuck in seam and he immdiately realized it was illegal for him to do it without umpire's direction and if I am not mistaken immediately it was reported by players on the field itself right there and then....
