gator Posted November 12, 2006 Share Posted November 12, 2006 New Delhi, November 12: A premier US think-tank has cautioned India against ?more spectacular attacks? by terrorists, saying such incidents could also create ?bigger problems? for Pakistan than it could handle. Warning that Kashmiri militant outfits were being increasingly drawn into the global jihadist camp, the Srategic Foresight Inc., known as Stratfor, says "if Pakistan is unable to reassert its control over the Kashmiris before such an attack occurs, it could find that the LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) has created a bigger problem than Islamabad can handle". "A major attack on India with thousands dead will find New Delhi in a much less forgiving mood", the Austin-based think-tank said. In a recent report, it said Pakistan "still has a firm grip on the larger, more mainstream Islamist groups operating within its borders and in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, such as Hizbul Mujahedeen and the United Jihad Council. "But groups like LeT, Al Badr and Jaish-e-Mohammad are much more autonomous. We used to have RAW's separate wing exclusively working for encourgaing sectarianism separatism in pakistan and we had one of the most peaceful period in those days viz a viz india pakistan, but Vajpayee wrapepd it up when Janta party came in power in late 70's. Time to revive that has come. We don't need to embark on all out attack, it just doesn't make sense if u do cost/benefit analysis. These creeps can be brought to their knees without risking all out war, just provide succour to baluchis pathans.
