Doctor Afridi: A bite a day, reverse swing way (Only Banned for 2 T20's)

Recommended Posts

a 2 t 20 ban is pretty light but you guys have to understand that afridi is an entertainer and most people tune in to see him play. banning him for more games = loss of revenue for icc. and who knows what he is going to pull out of his ass the next time. you can't ban a clown from a circus.
You are an absolute tool!

Afrid is still a great man, great player... 10 overs 2 wicket for just 31 runs... that is some performance:hatsoff: You are all trying to say what afridi did was bad, but that wasn't, everyone does eat when hungry, and he was so he decided to eat the first thing that came to him, and unfortunately for him that was the ball....

Gambo, I don't know if you keep up with stuff in the UK, but there was this rugby player Tom Williams, who faked an injury recently, with made up blood and all, to allow a colleague to return to the field. The guy copped 12 months, and the coach, Dean Richards, who was complicit in the act, got 3 years because he had done similar things previously. Williams' ban was later reduced to 4 months because he was acting on Richards' advice. That sort of law enforcement sends out a message to cheats that further misdemeanours will not be tolerated. In the Idi Amin-Robert Mugabe raj of ICC though, a captain gets a 4 match ban for failing to keep time the second time around, while a deliberate conniving cheat, a repeat offender to boot, gets two ODIs. Disgraceful doesn't even begin to describe what's going on.
Didn't follow that one Dhondy. What you have said in bold sums up ICC. What sort of precedent are they setting for kids aspiring to become cricketers. I bet Pak households were laughing and joking at this while watching it on TV, probably finding such shameful acts from Afridi endearing.

Exhibit A. The Pak fan. He will forgive anything short of murder from his cricketers.

Unbelievable. But if a highly educated doctor wants a serial cheat to come back as team captain when the dust settles, these responses shouldn't really surprise us. Read and weep, guys. There's not a lot else you can do.

:hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff: You deserve such a hungry-for-balls guy as your kaaptaan. Heck even Rana Naved was disgusted and ashamed looking at that retard

Now the already bankrupt PCB will have to hire some hot-shot legal experts to bail Afridi out. If evidence was not enough he is not supposedly issueing statements of innocence. With players like this who needs Modis of this world to drive PCB into the ground? Their captains seems to do this very effectively themselves.
