spectre
Guys, this time our team is much stronger than earlier 2 tournaments We have 4 new Indian players, who did not feature much in the revious IPLs but are now either in the Indian team or knocking the doors of Intl cricket Vijay - we all have seen his test class and his strokeplay Tyagi - in both squads, and did pretty well in the chances he got in ODIs Ashwin - may very well be in ODI squad very soon Badri - a very experienced player @ domestics, now got his chance @ test cricket We all know what Raina and Dhoni can do and with Haydos, Hussey, Albie, Murali, we have a formidable first choice XI the last place could be for Gony / Ganapathy / Jakati Subs can be - Kemp, Perera, Ntini, Satish, Mukund, Patel This effectively means, we can get rid of like of Balaji and the dangerous Jogi from the starting lineup
Aadhavzone
CSK has rocking batting & all rounder combos! I think we have the best composition as far as batting & all rounders are concerned...:) Praying that Ntini shud get a nod this time & make comeback to end his recent worry run! Coming to our composition i feel we have so freedom to switch around! 1.Hayden/Bailey 2.Badri/Patel 3.Raina 4.MSD 5.Hussey/Kemp 6.Albie/Perera/Oram 7.Ganapathy 8.Ashwin 10.Tyagi 11.Ntini/Murali (this slot is Slightly open) Availability of Hussey will be a great boost to the team! also this explosive line up will just dominate in subcontinent pitches & hopefully we will better our record this time in terms of high scores ‘MR. Cricket explodes to make fastest Century in IPL History’ It can’t get a better start for our team & tournament than this one…! It was 1st game for Chennai Super Kings and 2nd of IPL 2008. It was a memorable day to remember for our team & whole IPL. This spectacular game had set up a highest IPL total of 240/5 with a brilliant and smacking 116 from great Mr. Cricket himself, Michael Hussey. During this match Hussey cleared the ball 9 times out of the ground in his scintillating knock, which literally crumbled Punjab Kings XI. Chennai Super Kings started off the 1st season with a blazing & comfortable one-sided win. Chennai Super Kings 240/5 (20/20 overs); Kings XI Punjab 207/4 (20/20 overs) Chennai Super Kings won by 33 runs. . The main concern is the bowling if our pacers Tyagi, Perera, Ganapathy, Ntini, Albie do the job for us, then its a great support for us Also if Captain Charisma come backs to his hitting ways, i bet you, we cant imagine the score after 20 overs, with such an explosive line up... Thala (Head) Haydos, ;'Mr. Dependable' Raina; 'Mr. Cricket' M Hussey, 'Mr.Cool' MSD; 'Baby Demon' Albie; 'Explosive' Perera... We are the best! ;) isnt't? Aadhavzone
yes mate... missed out vijay... i dunno who to chose, may be badri is better or Ashwin's place can be utilised for few matches.. but he is also an exception... so picking Right XI is the key... I don want to see this bread butter jam Goni & worthless Joginder anywhere in team...
Aadhavzone
but sure, vijay can replace Patel, but its upto MSD's decision, he should not show reluctancy in changes like he did last time, otherwise this IPL will also start poor for us!
