Hey doesn't Zak looks fast when he is in full flow... Batsman play and misses , they struggle to get in line with the ball and are either bowled or LBW... Is there any probs with speed meter ... it shows he is bowling at between 128 ks - 135 ks... wereas batters are having hard time against him...

I have noticed this mentioned it before. There could be some difference.

I don't think his pace is much of a worrying part for the batsmen but it's the slow nature of the pitch. Only sehwag kind of players can score at extra ordinary SR on this pitch or your opponents must have a dart thrower. Btw don't take our outdated and expired speedguns too seriously. There was one of the bouncers by zak which clearly had ruffled batsman's feathers was clocked at 103 kmph :giggle:

one thing I like about Zak is that he alteast stays in low 130s... that after years of International Cricket...but when you see young guns like Ishant Sharma, Pathan, Praveen bowl in 120s, it makes you feel sad...and regarding topic, you are right Mihir..He does have that skiddy pace while bowling.. in 2003 WC, he was constantly bowling in 140s and he looked quicker than most bowlers

Zak is Zak. He's the Indian bowling spearhead & to see the fact that he gets next to naught of support from the other end is disappointing. Add to that, people consistently feel that pace is not a big deal, while random 17 yr olds touch 90mph on 3/6 deliveries and people like Steyn, Morkel, Taylor, Roach, Johnson, Nannes, Tait & an injured Flintoff consistently clock 90miles and up. And while they're doing this, we are busy fooling ourselves by saying "we can't bowl 90mph since we are vegetarians". :hysterical::hysterical:

People still feel 135 is express pace :hehe: And we have our coaches telling young pacers "Beta, agar 10-15 saal cricket khelna hai toh speed ko maaro goli. 132 should be your fastest ball and don't try to go beyond 140. Its not good for you". :finger:

Our speedguns are an epic fail' date=' the ball that got Prince out was clocked at 128.4 kmph, even Andrew McDonald is clocked at 130-135 average by the Oz speedguns.[/quote'] two of balls were clocked at 1km/hr long live neop cricket :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::haha::haha::haha::giggle::giggle:

That might explain the Prince delivery.
