In the midst of the latest Pakistan debacle

Don't take away the credit from the Aussies. Make no mistake, the Aussies played terrific cricket and beat Pakistan ruthlessely. The loss has nothing to do with team fighting and the other excuses thrown around. Since a long time Aussies have been thrashing Pakistan and every time you hear some or other sort of excuse. This time around the PCB drama is almost a give away. They make huge news after a series such as this or after a defeat against India to take the public's wrath on PCB and players. Shoaib Akthar was made a scape goat after India beat Pakistan at home. Every time there's a series loss, PCB appoints a commission bans a player or two, fines a player or two and then bring those players back post another series loss. Win a game or two and then the fans start singing the praise but then the wheel is re-invented. Since 1996 I've been hearing this rubbish from PCB. They blame every loss on either match fixing or in-fighting. It’s a bit like the 1996 WC quarter finals, Pakistan lost to a better opponent but then Akram was held responsible. Akram didn’t even play that game, how the heck could he have fixed it  It’s not as if Akram could have ran through the line up, Waqar was at his prime then but didn’t produce the result did he? Bottom line is there's huge gulf between Pakistan's ability and the top 3-4 teams. Occassionally Pakistan may beat the top teams but eventually the class shows. I think Pakistan is under denial that they are not the team from the 80s and the 90s. They just carry on as if they are the best team in the world but are only losing because of match fixing or for some other non-cricketing reason. The reason Pakistan is losing because they have no bowlers that can consistently take 20 wickets in a test match. Pakistan lacks a decent opening pair and have been swapping players trying to find a pair but they are looking at the wrong set of players. Yousuf and Younis have done a marvellous job but they have their ups and down, may even be nearing their end of careers. Pakistan just doesn't have players to fill in for these two excellent batsmen. Since Inzi retired they haven't been able to produce half decent batsman capable of filling Inzi's shoes. Pakistan has the worst wicket keeper going around, Boycott's mum can take more catches than Akmal can. PCB is an organization run by bunch of cowboys. They have no clue how to run it. Why not privatize it and leave it to J.P.Morgan or someone to manage in that case? Pakistan's cricket overall is dying, PCB has no clue how to resurrect it. They are fastening the end of Pakistan cricket. For heaven’s sake Pakistan’s cricketing public needs to understand how inept is PCB and how well they like to shift the blame over to the players. Players are not helping either, they come with bloated egos and want a share of everything but their performances are as usual at the bottom of the bucket. You could swap the entire Pakistan team with the domestic players and still produce better results. PCB is so inept they couldn’t even secure the Sri Lankan players and it’s been over a year but there’s not even sign of culprits being brought to justice. People now forget how the tour was screwed and in the process Pakistan cricket lost out big time but will now start blaming the players for the recent loss.

I think Aussies would have lost the sydney test but IMO it was fixed. No board would ban players from 1 year to life for just not being good seniors, there is a lot more behind the closed doors

In short everything is phucked :cantstop: To be fair I always thought they have a handy attack but no fielders to grab chances... even one solid opener will help them no ends.
