Arsenal Duo William Gallas & Andrey Arshavin Ruled Out For Three Weeks More bad news for the Gunners... The two players sustained injuries in the 2-2 Champions League draw with Barcelona on Wednesday, and both have calf strains that will keep them out for much of April. "At the moment, we are like an army who have come back from a big battle," Wenger told the club's official website, after Cesc Fabregas was earlier ruled out for the remainder of the season. "We have some bruises but we need to recover and then go to the next battle. Who will be available for the next one? I have to wait 24 hours more. "William had a recurrence of his calf strain. That is at least three weeks. The next one is Arshavin - calf strain, three weeks. "Gael Clichy is struggling with a back problem. He might need a breather as well. I don't know yet, we will assess that tomorrow. Denilson has a groin problem, we will assess that too. "The first three are out, Clichy and Denilson are ‘possibles' to play at the weekend." Looking for the positives, Wenger is hoping to welcome back a couple of fresh faces for the weekend's Premier League tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers. "We have Silvestre and Campbell available," he said. "Then of course there is Rosicky and Eduardo. Vela is coming back too."

Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas Ruled Out For Rest Of The Premier League Season With Broken Leg Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the season with a small crack to his right fibula. The 22-year-old was left limping after scoring his side's equaliser in the 2-2 Champions League draw with Barcelona on Wednesday, and after the game admitted his fear that he had "broken something". And a scan on Thursday revealed the extent of his injuries, ruling him out for six weeks — the rest of the Gunners' campaign. "Following a scan this afternoon, the club can confirm that Cesc Fabregas has suffered a small crack in his right fibula as a result of the collision with Barcelona defender Carles Puyol during Wednesday evening’s match," a statement on the club's website read. "As a consequence, Cesc will miss the remainder of the domestic campaign as he will be out of action for at least six weeks." If the club's prognosis is correct, Fabregas should still return to full fitness in time to join Spain's squad for the summer's World Cup in South Africa. But that will be of little consolation to Arsene Wenger, who will now have to mastermind the remainder of the Gunners' league and European challenge without the club's talisman.
