Any Free to Air channels showing Indian cricket?

Recommended Posts

Guys, I am setting up a satellite dish to receive some desi channels at my home here in Denmark. I am wondering if I could receive any Free To Air channels from any satellite to watch Indian cricket matches. Please let me know if you are aware of any. It would be great to watch cricket on HD TV than pathetic internet streams. (mouth watering at the prospect of watching on a big screen here)

DD sports is the only non pay sports channel and it doesn't telecast cricket. But most India matches are covered by DD national which is FTA so if you can get it, you're in luck. Don't think they telecast in HD though and you'll have to endure hindi commentary as well.

I doubt that there are any FTA channels with an European footprint broadcasting cricket, especially Indian cricket, but it also depends on what satellite you are pointing your dish at? Have a look on http://www.lyngsat.com to see the list of available channels on the satellite that your satellite is pointing at. Also good place to get more ideas about satellite channels & satellite is the forums at http://www.satellites.co.uk/.

not sure about FTA channels in Denmark..but make sure your satellite dish is away from a cow's reach :winky: :icflove:
Haha...trust me man...There is not a single cow on the streets like back in India..Dairy is a very well organised industry here and they have thousands of cows in far away dairy farms only...
