Mamu
Put this win vis-a-vis the Paki game. IN both cases the runs required were 268 and India went on to achieve that -- despite them being the "supposed -- Bowling Powerhouse". In this case the best team in the tournament - needed the same number of runs and you saw what happened. Whenever you are chasing in Dumbo Lala -- you start at 50 runs behind ---- just because of the nature of the wicket. This is why the win against Pakis is all the more satisfying. Of course the preview to Final was an abberation. Link to comment
DomainK
Yes. Same target, same venue. You can now compare the fast bowlers. Link to comment

Ram
It’s a bit like the final two ODI matches of the Jeet lo Dil ODI series back in 2004. In the 2nd last ODI, that fantabulous partnership b/w Yuvraj and MS helped us easily surmount a 290+ target, while in the last ODI, Pakistan was dismissed well short of a similar target, batting second. putrevus
add attapattu's logic to our neighbours logic, he was saying on neo sports srilanka was best team in Asia cup because it took perfect game from India to beat them. Link to comment
Manny_Pacquiao
while there is no doubt that paki bowling attack sucks DONKEY BALLS, you have to remember that this match was a final. chasing in a final is a completely different proposition, the pressure on batsmen is 100x greater. but i am still super chuffed to see india knock the stuffing outof SL like this. it reminded of how they played in the 2003 world cup - batsmen putting up scores below 300 and 3 indian seamers ripping through the top order to seal easy wins Link to comment
mastana
Yeah sure. Our batting is better because we amassed 385 -_-. Indians and their logic :P Indian bowling is better. Because we bowled out Bangladesh on 168. :hehe: Once again we don't have real phaast bowlers. But our bowlers are good enough to win matches for us. :finger: Link to comment

The Outsider
The forum has become unreadable. Pakistan this, Pakistan that. Then we have internet sleuths who spend countless hours trying to figure out who is a Pakistani and who is Australian by 'analyzing' posts and user names. On a day that the Indian team won a major championship there is nothing worthwhile to read here except a barrage of emoticons and dragging Pakistan into every thread, a team which was out of the tournament many days back.
