DomainK
When was that pic taken? I can see that building from where im sitting and it isnt covered in any plastic. No idea. Just saw the pic on FB and they were saying the pic was taken after the first spell of rains. But if you can see the building, I guess it must have been taken sometime during the construction. ravishingravi
Tata on Ambani's house London's Times newspaper quoted the Tata group chairman saying, "It makes me wonder why someone would do that. That's what revolutions are made of. The person who lives in there should be concerned about what he sees around him and [asking] can he make a difference. "If he is not, then it's sad because this country needs people to allocate some of their enormous wealth to finding ways of mitigating the hardship that people have." Tata, who bought the British steel maker Corus and car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said, the widening gap between the rich and the poor in India worried him. "We are doing so little about the disparity. We are allowing it to be there and wishing it away."

akshayxyz
As great businessman as he is - is it wise to invest so much in residential property - that too in the middle of the city? He could very well have built TajMahal in outskirts and have choppers to shuttle him in-to/from the city. Anyway, however way he acquired it, its his money - his wish. Ipods/Ipads/Macbooks are all made in China/Taiwan/etc. Pay for labour in those markets is no different than what Ambani pays the labor in Gujrat. :dontknow: I am sure Ambani pays his engineers/managers very well too.
