Sir john Posted March 15, 2011 Author Share Posted March 15, 2011 KXIP to seek replacements Kings XI Punjab will seek replacements for its two injured English players -- pacer Stuart Broad and all-rounder Dimitri Mascarenhas -- ahead of the Indian Premier League next month. Broad suffered a side strain during the ongoing World Cup, while Mascarenhas is nursing an Achilles injury. The Punjab team comprises seven international players, 16 Indian players, the franchise's CEO Arvinder Singh said. Singh said the team will play four matches in Mohali and three in Dharamsala. He said the matches in Dharamsala will be played on May 15, 18 and 21. He said a coaching camp of the Indian players will be organised at the HPCA Stadium from April 21 to 26. Col. Arvinder Singh, CEO of the King’s XI team gave this information here today. He said two players from Himachal Pradesh have also been included in the King’s XI team for the upcoming IPL season-IV staring in April. The Himachal players who have included in Kings XI team are Paras Dogra and Vikramjit Malik. He also said that former India player Vikram Rathore will be incharge of this six-day camp here. King’s XI will play three of its home matches at Dharamsala. It will play against Delhi Daredevils on May 15, Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 18 and Deccan Chargers Hyderabad on May 21.
