Desiblue
I saw a tweet on Cricinfo feed which says "If WI beat Eng, Eng beat Ban, WI beat Ind, Ire beat WI, SA beat Ind, Ire beat SA, SA beat Ban & Ire beat Neth, Ind could still miss out".... now that BD has beaten ENG and WI has beatern Ire, does that mean we have confirmed our birth in QF? vaibhav_delhi
Only in 1 scenario, india could be out: WI has to beat india End to beat WI BD to beat SA BD to beat Holland SA to beat India, Ireland And So WI has 8, SA has 8, BD has 8 , End and Ind have 7. England has to have better NRR. * No tied\ rained out match possibilities taken into calculations... Link to comment
kabira
For England to have better run rate they have to have a game like Windies had against Bangladesh. I highly doubt that. England's fortune rest on us beating Windies. Link to comment

England's fortune rest on us beating Windies. If they have a relatively good game and we have 2 poor games, they could still sneak in :dontknow: since our RR will go down with 2 bad losses Link to comment

Guest prince
Who cares, we have QUALIFIED anyway There is no need to cry or overreact. We lost but our next match on 20th, by that time all the teams will have played their matches and mathematically we will have qualified to the quater finals before the west indies match. if worst of the worst happens then we will finish at number 4. It looks like Australia will finish 1st in group A so we might get them in quaters. But I think we will finish 2nd and face Pakistan. If we face Lanka then where will the quaters be held at and what about if we get Pakistan. Link to comment
Deleted_User_1
Yeah, it is just that we are stupid team and we WILL crash out of the competition soon. MARK MY WORDS!! India will not win the World Cup with this type of a team competition. Phaack De India! :finger: Link to comment
goose
India had a chance to finish SA off mentally, for good. Did you see how elated Smith et al were. Link to comment
