someone
Seems like I was correct, and all of you are wrong. He has potential and rightfully can come into our team.

Ramzz
Abey yeh international cricket mein iski phathi hai. saala run out hota hai ya doosre ko run out karta hai. Don't forget...he hasn't been tested against into the body short pitched bowling. We all remember how he fared in that World t20 match in England and then in the west Indies where he went for 60 runs or something in 4 overs

We all remember how Zaheer fared in the 2003 world cup, he gave 15 in his first over, he lacks the pressure skills and will always struggle in high profile matches. We lost that game because of him. You give one old example of Jadeja and give you 10 examples. Pathetic attitude shown by you fans, go support Pakistan if you do not like talent

He has been given enough chances. Taking the example of Zaheer, that was the world cup final. In the case of Jaddu...he is panicky in bilateral series ODI's...big difference right there. Anyways, Zak was dropped after a poor run, came back stronger...lets see how Jaddu fares. Even in this IPL, he has struggles when the bowlers have bowled into his hip area. He has not worked on that aspect of his game. If he does improve, then by all means bring him back and let him prove himself again. I just don't want those crazy run outs he was part of to happen again. They have cost us games.
vvvslaxman
Pleaes.. don't pick him based on IPL.. i know what he does in the international cricket. He has a role in the Kochi side. That probably suits him. I don't think he fits into our side. I would rather give a chance to Valthaty.
WC2011INDIA
It's looking more and more likely that he will be back in T20's. :nervous:
youngindia
he is panicky in bilateral series ODI's...big difference right there. i know what he does in the international cricket the illogic and silliness in these comments is astounding. the assumption is a player's qualities and games are static and never improves.and we are talkign about 20-21 yr old for christ's sake! do you expect 20-21 yr olds to have the maturity of a 30 yr old or what? :--D what do you expect? people grow up stage by stage, man. Development as player(like a normal human being) comes in incremental steps. when people grow up eventually, who cares what we did as immature 20 yr olds?. what he did in his first year international cricket is totally irrelvant for his long term future. jeez
youngindia
Pleaes.. don't pick him based on IPL.. i know what he does in the international cricket. . it has nothing to do with IPL or international cricket. he has just taken the first step towards internationals after being prematurely drafted. he was not timing it well enough to be a threat in any matches before.he is starting to strike it like aninternational now. and its only the beginning of a process. every damn player in any sport grows up this way. i have seen it all before and i am seeing it now. vvvslaxman
I don't think his timing is great now either. He has very limited strokes. Vijay plays very well too. We all saw what he did at the international. We don't want darters as well. India has to stop picking darters just because they can bat a bit. Keep looking for guys like Ashwin who is not afraid to flight even if he gets hit for 6.
youngindia
I don't think his timing is great now either.. he has certainly improved significantly and if you can't see that then you are not goling to notice much. what's more important is it will continue to improve down the years. All youngsters need time to develop full fledged shotmaking ad currently "they are work in progress". it will be some years before he becomes a full fledged shotmaker. for example jayasuriya made his debut in 1989. It was not the until 1995 adelaide test he really got his self belief and attained real maturity. six- eight years is the timeline we are talking about. to talk about a player in his frst year? you guys are joking. . Vijay plays very well too. We all saw what he did at the international. the same premature and totally erroneous judgement. We don't want darters as well. India has to stop picking darters just because they can bat a bit. His strength is in batting at no 7 as a gifted shotmaker(potentially). he can be useful bowler at no 5 and nothing more than that. jadeja cannot be no 3 or 4. Ashwin is specialist bowler at no3 or no4.so no valid comparison.
yoda
Man if we go by IPL performances, Paul V would play ahead of Sehwag, Jaddu would be ahead of Harby , Rayudu would replace Gambhir and Bala would replace Zak. Please stop getting orgasms every time someone does well here claiming he is back in the Indian team.
