Vijay.Sharma
Two of the six parameters that make up the Virtuosity Index have been analyzed. No surprises in the results... On the Peer Comparison Index, Bradman is way ahead of the others and hence the only 'virtuoso' performer for the parameter. Although Sachin is comfortably ahead of the rest, Bradman's distance from the other 18 ATGs is so large that it forces Sachin to be considered between typical ATG and Virtuoso for this parameter. On the other side of the scale, Sehwag has performed significantly lower than the typical ATG performance. Waugh and Sangakkara also aren't up to typical ATG level. On the Contribution to Team Index, there are two virtuoso performers for the parameter: Bradman and Lara. Like the previous parameter, here too Sachin is comfortably ahead of the rest but not up to the level of Lara and Bradman. Hutton shares space with Sachin in the 'above typical ATG but below virtuoso' cluster. At the other end, Inzamam is significantly lower than the typical ATG performance. Chappell, Hammond, and Waugh also are quite low. For details of the parameters, please visit here. Link to comment
