apocalypse
with windies playing sensibly this time and with a runrate of just under 5 I really doubt that Link to comment
Predator_05
The West Indian tail go down like wh0res. 229 all out. Last 5 wickets for 9 runs, and Widebottom managed to pick up TWO of them ! Wow. Link to comment

Donny
Vaughan out to Sammy for 40, caught & bowled. 2/122. Cook 42* Pietersen 16* Link to comment
King
Pietersen now opening up and looking to take on the Windies bowlers. Some really amazing shots already. 191/2 and WI look out of sorts. Fielding, catching and bowling has hit nadir for Windies. Chanderpaul got the ball to turn and bounce. Monty must be itching to bowl. Link to comment
Donny
2/208. The lead is 349. Cook 80* Pietersen 60* Link to comment
apocalypse
Bravo to Pietersen, OUT, hit wicket, what an unusual dismissal. A sharp bouncer took Pietersen totally by surprise - but not a quick ball - knocking his helmet off which then fell on to his stumps. Pietersen didn't connect with the sticks themselves, but as the bails were dislodged by the lid, he's gone interesting Link to comment
Donny
Alistair Cook brings up his 6th. Test century before falling to Chris Gayle for 106. England's lead has passed the 400 mark. Link to comment
Donny
Sammy on a hat trick. Bell (2) and Prior gone in successive balls Plunkett dots 2 balls and also goes for a duck. Sammy took 3 wickets in 5 balls! He has 4/54. 7/272. Link to comment
Lurker
Alistair Cook brings up his 6th. Test century before falling to Chris Gayle for 106. England's lead has passed the 400 mark. This Alistair Cook chap seems like a good prospect for England. With Strauss and Trescothick also vying for opening spot seems England have a embarassment of riches or sorts. xx Link to comment

apocalypse
Windies batted very well today Hope they try their best tomorrow Link to comment
Ram
Windies will rue their first innings collapse... If only they had touched 300 then, things would have looked brighter for them. And making 150 runs with 5 wickets in hand isnt that far-fetched in modern day cricket, but with only Sammy , taylor, edwards and collymore left there is not a lot of hope for the Windies. Its upto Chanderpaul and Ramdin... Link to comment
Gambit
KP's dismissal was unlike any other dismissal I have seen in cricket. Quite freakish. WI showed a lot of character to bat the way they did today. Still a tall ask to get the remaining runs. This Sammy guy seems to be decent and uses his height to good advantage. But then again, we have seen some impressive debuts from WI pacers in the recent past only for them to go off the boil and drift away into oblivion. Example: Franklin Rose. Link to comment
Cricketics
man this chanderpaul is dravid of windies.. fantastic batsman, though ppl would call him a boring batsman, but certainly is a fantastic player, always helping his team.. a salute to this batsman.. btw gambit, u brought the name of franklin rose, last season he was playing in our league in a club here in VA/DC/MD/Balti - IN WCL league btw Link to comment
ali0786
only if westindies didnt lose their last 6 wickets for 13 runs in the first innings..they could have been chasing fewer runs.. Link to comment
Donny
But they did. History. Gutsy efforts from Morton, Chanders, Bravo and Ramdin have them right in this. No need for risks. Under 2 r.p.o. needed. Link to comment
