The Indian board made the announcement after the two were cleared of injury concerns. "The MRI scan taken of Zaheer Khan's groin is clear and he should be available for selection though a final report from team physio John Gloster is awaited," Niranjan Shah, the board secretary, told PTI. Zaheer injured his groin during the second ODI of the Afro-Asia Cup at Chennai on June 9, and failed to complete his third over. He missed the third ODI and his chances of making the tours looked to be in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Munaf Patel has been given a clean chit by John Gloster after successfully making it through a bowlers conditioning camp held in Mysore from June 4 to 8. Munaf was forced to return to India after suffering lower back pain during the tour to Bangladesh. The squads for the tours to Ireland and England will be announced tomorrow after a meeting between the selectors and captain Rahul Dravid in New Delhi.
