Agree.. Except Ishant/Abu Nechim, no one has gained pace after U19 VRV , RP , Irfan Yomahesh all lost pace, when they should have gained 5-10kmph
VRV did not lose pace. He bowled quick in 2006 SA tour, but he suffered series of injuries. Irfan was never quick at U19 level. Same is RP was 125K bowler when he first debuted for India. Some bowlers are very over rate in terms of pace when they started. Only VRV was quick at U19 level. Ishant was not that quick too. He gained pace after he debuted for India. RP and Irfan too gained and lost their pace only after debuting. Most of our bowlers gain some in their initial years of international cricket that is mostly 1-2 years and then they start losing pace. There are very few except VRV and Munaf who started bowling quick from junior or FC level.

I guess thats not quite correct. VRV was quick on the SA tour, pretty young then injuries and lost pace. Irfan bowler above 140kmph, on Australia tour, when he was 19-20 yrs. then we all know by 24-25 he lost pace. RP Singh , was average 137kmph, be has bowled quick in Aus series in India just after the 2007 world cup, he bowled a pacy 146kmph yorker to bowl gilchirst , also bowled sharply in the 2007 world cup. Then we all know he lost pace, now a trundler. Munaf started pacy, was young then 19-20 again. by the time he entered 24yrs. he got slow, now not even medium pace. Only Ishant has gained muscle mass, gained some speed, after losing it for a yr / yr and a half. The other lad i mentioned was Abu Nechim, who still bowls with lot of steam, was quick during his U19 days.

Another player who has lot of articles is Akhil Herwadkar, some twitter comments on him "Akhil Herwadkar awarded as Best Junior cricketer of the season & Best Junior cricketer(U-16) for 2010 –11,by Mumbai Cricket Association.!!" His profile on Lakshya sports academy "With the ability to cover ground quickly and stunning reflexes he has a record of scoring the maximum runs in mostly all the matches he has played. Not only is he a one-man-show but also a team player and can field at any position." "At the age of 16 Akhil has the determination and the perseverance to compete with the best and is doing so by playing in the U-19 Mumbai Team and holds an ambition of playing with the Mumbai Ranji Team and aspires to represent the country with his consistent performance." A score card where Akhil, Mohshin both have performed well. http://www.dnaindia.com/sport/report_two-in-two-for-mumbai-in-vinoo-mankad-west-zone-league_1457149

VRV was quick that i said since his start, but no Irfan and RP. The only gained pace after the started playing for India, but still Irfan was never 140K bar here and there he touched 140 on occasion not consistently. Irfan was at best 135K. while RP when first started for India in 2005 in Zimbabwe was bowling 125-130K but as he played more for India gained a bit of pace but he too was not 140K. if you say 137K is good pace then that is not. we cannot count 137k as fast, at best medium fast to fast medium not more than that.

which yorker you are talking about. He never Clean bowled Gilchrist. RP and Irfan botjh are at best 135J bowler and still bowl at that pace. They have not lost pace. What they lost is in RP's case is fitness and stamina and Irfan's case his action and bowling technique. There pace is still similar. RP did bowl very tentatively slow in Oval test that too because he was out of practice for a long time and was jaded, but he was back to his normal pace in ODIs around 135K, but stamina was not there and lacked accuracy. IF he gets fit, he will still bowl at that pace again.
The other lad i mentioned was Abu Nechim, who still bowls with lot of steam, was quick during his U19 days
Nechim was not that quick in U-19, he was slower than Yomahesh. Nechim was around 133K, but he gained good pace after that and now can bowl up to 145K.

He is not even 16. Just 15yrs and 355 days, i doubt he would be sharp at this tender age. Just some research, indicates, he has already bowled to better batsman at 15 yrs of age, he has bowled to South Australia, Tasmania during the Champions League practice matches in 2010
share some links about him.

oh that was actually Maharasthra, not karnataka http://www.tribuneindia.com/2011/20110103/cth2.htm
WTF ??? These players lessen their age by 4-5 yrs. Just imagine if Yuvraj/Dhoni has done the same, they would be 34 by now, and by the look of Yuvraj these days he looks like 34. This is really unfair play, if they play in younger players tournament, even when they are over-aged. This points us to the big problem, why our players do not look fit when they near 29-30, because they are actually not 29-30, they are 33-34.
