Trichromatic
Kaneria is a joke. He will end up figures of 5/210 as usual. 5/210 in UAE won't be that bad. :winky: Link to comment
Cricket Tragic
But in 2005 he was probably our best bowler against England on similar pitches.... I think he still has enuff talent in him to perform well for PAkistan There is a toss up b/w him and AbdurRehman who is a defensive spinner but is a very capable late order batsman. I prefer kaneria over him Leaving his action aside, Ajmal is a good bowler. Rehman has done alright but I've not been impressed by his bowling. He has done well enough to get the second spinner's slot though. Link to comment

I would rather have a attacking leg-spinner as compared to defensive left arm spinner Link to comment

Gotham Cronie
Nobody gave Pakistan a chance in '05 after England clinched the Ashes and were being talked as being a #1 team. Link to comment
Cricket Tragic
On which planet is Kaneria an attacking spinner? Being a leggie does not automatically make him an attacking option. Link to comment
Gotham Cronie
3 T20.....looks like a 1st in a bilateral series. Offen there is 1....max 2 in some...but 3 T20. Too much...considering there are 4 or 5 ODI's also. Pakistan played 3 in New Zealend on their last tour. Link to comment

In comparison to Rehman He has picked up 260+ wickets at an average of 34 and s/R of 67 which shows he is a wicket taking spinner Link to comment

I can bet that the majority of them have come with him giving away 100-150 runs. How often has he taken something like 5-60? Link to comment

Again yopu arent getting the point I am not saying he is the best spinner on Planet his competition is with Rehman and I feel he is more threatening compared to Rehman... I would take even 5/150 in UAE Link to comment
