asterix
He's nearing 30. And he reminds me a lot of that West Indian bowler Ian Bradshaw. Similar actions and the faster delivery is their surprise weapons. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: :(( Link to comment
rkt.india
Cheeka says Rahul Sharma and Aravind have been picked as they did well in IPL. Why not pick Valthaty and rayudu using the same logic? Not too long the same Cheeka had said doing well only in the IPL isn't good enough for one to be picked in the national side. problem is not that they pick based on IPL. Problem is can't they see if some one has in him to be successful at the highest level. Some one like Aravind or Vinay Kumar, what ingredients they have to be successful? that is the biggest question, what they see in guys like Vinay? Link to comment

saneindian
New ICC rules come into effect from 1st October like new balls from both the ends. That in a way would mean teams definitely playing 3 seamers. Link to comment

Nope. That rule still says 5 fielders allowed outside the circle in non powerplay overs. 41.2.4 D uring the non Powerplay Overs, no more than 5 fieldsmen shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area referred to in clause 41.2.3 (a) above. But that is an old rule. In new rules, i had somewhere read 4 fielders only in overs other than power play. Link to comment
saneindian
Naah its an updated rule. They have only changed the rule that the bowling and batting PP has to be taken between 16th and 40th overs. Link to comment
rkt.india
two new ball rule will certainly help good fast bowling teams and spinners may not play a huge role then. Link to comment
