worth mentioning hes accurate with pace too.Doesnt spray it around like say Tait, then its not thrilling but frustrting to watch Johnson bowls excellent attacking lines and length using his pace nicely
Bull*****t!!! I hate this blind hate for STait. NONE, I repeat, not even a single bowler in last 100 years of Indian history has better bowling average than STait in ODI http://www.espncricinfo.com/canada/content/player/8076.html Talking about spraying, his economy in International t20s is best in the world for any reason.. 6.9 We Indians, all speak as if Zak is some god of a bowler but first one to disrespect a genuine brutal fast bowler like Tait

Fastest SOB around. Bowls them so easily. More to do with his bowling action?
Look at his physique now. When he first started in 2005-2006. He used to bowl in high 130s to low 140s, but has gradually gained pace, especially now since he has changed his runup. His wide steps runup was his biggest enemy. Now he runs in with smaller steps which has helped him in staying balance at delivery stride and hence getting in better position to deliver quick deliveries at better accuracy and also he is now getting his bowling arm a bit more high up to get swing.

Agree. I do not think there is any pacer who has better SR than him in ODIs. He can spray the ball now because he is usually out of practice. He is saying that because he played 1-2 match of RR and was wayward. It is bound to happen when you are sitting in dugout for 1 month and is called up to bowl suddenly, especially an express bowler like him it gets difficult when you are not in practice. Remember WC 2007, he was one of the highest wicket taker along with McGrath.

The point is, Indian fans like you use the word 'over-rated' for awesome non-Indian bowlers .. now wonder why non Indian cricket fans hate our team and fans.. You better call Z.Khan and K.Dev pathetic now..

ahahaha... dumb@$$.. Running away with name-calling....You said 'He dosent have to bowl on flat roads'..Pakistan has same flat roads too
I see where you're coming from, rr. The beef is not against MJ, but against GJB for the arrogant "intimidation" speech. You mouth off to the press, you'd better deliver. 91680.

Btw on the same track , heres what our strike bowler did . B Kumar 10 0 54 0 5.40
BK bowled well, credit to him, but he bowled 8 overs up front when Aussies were batting 4 an over and not looking to attack much. He conceded 32 runs in those 8 overs and 22 runs in his last 2 overs at death. Had he bowled in death overs more, his analysis could have been different too. Even Ishant had only conceded 24 runs in his first 5 overs but then he bowled in PP and death overs and was hit around the park. Johnson's first two spells were very good too.
