How can Gayle and Nannes be in the same squad?

Gayle wasn't initially picked in the auction but he only came as in a replacement for the injured nannes in ipl4 so surely gayle shouldn't be in the champions league squad as nannes is fit and back in the squad? ipl and champions league are so inconsistent: 1) gayle replaces nannes but remains in the squad when nannes comes back from injury 2) rajasthan and punjab were thrown out of IPL4 but were brought back in with some financial penalties 3) Mumbai are allowed to fill 5 foreign players instead of giving them permission to sign some local indian players 4) now kochi has been thrown out of ipl but will be probably back in time for IPL5 5) jadeja got a season ban from ipl but manish pandey only got 4 match ban for talking with another franchise about possible signing a contract

Its so bullshit. Conflicts of interests left right and centre. :headshake: All the players should only have one contract they can sign at any one time when the teams at conflict are in the same league. :protest:
Well it gets complicated as the Champions League doesn't have a fixed set of teams and depends on which teams qualify. Contracts however are signed by players already. You can't say that just because a SAF team and an IPL team may end up being in the CL at the same time a player shouldn't have the opportunity to play in both.

Its a conflict of interest. Not if he can make some money or not. Otherwise Steve Jobs should send his resume to companies looking for a CEO so he could make some extra cash. :headshake: You dont see professional players in any other sports competting in competitions that blatantly have such a conflict of interest. Technically a player can sign up with every team in the CL, and be eligible to play for any of them. This isnt backyard cricket......unless we make it out to be like that.
