rkt.india
Tests in Bangalore Its a dead track... would love to see a ODI there. No it is not a dead track. It helps seamers with the new ball at the start and has help fro spinners too. It should be a very good test wicket, better than delhi's slow tack. It has good bounce as well. It was T20, so it was made a bit flatted but will have more grass and moisture in tests. Link to comment

Plus in this season, its very difficult to have a test without rain interruptions. Link to comment
Pagalpanti
It's WI we're talking about so in all 3 tests, results are possible unless rain intervenes. Link to comment
kabira
whats so hurry, let windies come first and then we can decide schedule. Link to comment
saneindian
It's WI we're talking about so in all 3 tests' date=' results are possible unless rain intervenes.[/quote'] We expected the same against the kiwis last year but ended up giving them flattest of pattas in the three tests. Hopefully with the 3 major centres hosting the tests, we wil not see pattas but proper test pitches. Need to win this series 3-0. Link to comment
Laaloo
delhi and mumbai are result oriented pitches we havent played in kolkata in years and hope the bengalis dont try to screw us this time :nervous: Link to comment
saneindian
Have heard a rumour that one of the ODIs during the WI tour could be played at the newly constructed cricket stadium in Ranchi. The BCCI pitch committee inspected the stadium and the pitch and have declared the pitch to be one of the quickest in India! Link to comment
rkt.india
This Delhi pitch looked a fantastic test wickets, will help both pacers and spinners. Need to watch out for Rampaul, Edwards, and Roach on this track. Link to comment

saneindian
D/N matches in early winters. Not a great idea. Hopefully common sense prevails and we see a 1 PM start, else the side chasing will have a huge advantage. Link to comment
Cricket Tragic
I'm happy with the selection of venues. This is how it should be with tests at major venues and ODIs moved around the country. Link to comment
Trundler27
finally eden gardens is back hosting test matches..... looking forward to it..... I will never forget the epic india australia game played there...... Hopefully the crowd can stay out of trouble :winky: Let's improve our head to head test record against the windies!!! plz don't play for a lousy draw when you can try and win it (i remember laxman and company did something along those lines during the recent windies tour even though the target was a very challenging one in the fourth innings). Good luck boyz Link to comment
