Patel is club standard at best. Very limited player who the older he gets becomes even worse. He should be nowhere near any international team but as long as he provides boyish sexual favours to the selection committee he will continue to be picked.

I have never understood one thing. Saha is our backup wicketkeeper for a long time but when we need to rest Dhoni we choose Parthiv. Does not make any sense. Saha is a consistent bat and is also a better keeper than Parthiv and maybe even Dhoni. So, why not give Saha chances when MSD is rested.

He's had 3 bad series now after a bright start in England. 200 runs in last 12 innins wthout any 50, that too when he has batted at the top. I will be surprised if he retains his spot for the tri series.

When are they going to realize parthiv doesnt belong It continues to baffle me. Parthiv patel has proved 100 different ways he just doesn't belong here. He is neither a half decent keeper nor an explosive batsman to be part of Indian squad regularly. He is even more terrible fielder. Grooming as Dhoni's backup is like hitting your head against wall.
