vvvslaxman
Don't think India doing well or not has anything to do with take on why England doesn't deserve to be no.1 ranked side. it stems from the fact that India had to go through that same criticism when they were no.1 . technically they are no.1 . Are they as good as Australian side of 2000s and windies of 1980s as some English supporters claim? they are nowhere close. Link to comment

BERGKAMP
I agree with you mister OP. These Indians have lost 7 in a row and they're arrogant enough to accuse us of being s-hittier then them. They are minnows. 7th in overall win/loss ratios. Aussies may call us s-hit but to them at cricket everyone else is s-hit, They know we're their biggest rivals and it hurts more then anything when we beat them. Ashes is the the true test for a cricketer. That's why Pakistan born player like Usan Khawaja and Saffa born players leave the minnow cricket nations. Because They want to compete in the test world cup, which is the ashes between Australia and England. oh my god Tony Grieg has joined ICF  Link to comment
adi B
Just a quick message to Indian fans from an England fan. I've seen many messages from Indian fans after England's defeat about how we shouldn't be number 1, can't win in the subcontinent and can only win at home. Only one of those is true - we do find it very difficult in the subcontinent. Now before you make these outlandish comments, please consider how badly your team is currently doing. You have lost 7 tests on the bounce, 3 to Australia in Australia, a team that England soundly beat 3-1 just a year ago and you lost 4-0 to England in England. Whereas we can't win IN the subcontinent you can't win OUT of the subcontinent. England haven't lost a series since 2009, and have notched up victories against Australia, Bangladesh and an impressive drawn series against South Africa away from home. By the end of the year, Sri Lanka and India will have been added to that list - Pakistan will probably be 1-1. Not to mention all the teams we have beat at home on proper, swinging and seaming wickets (Pakistan,Sri Lanka, Australia, India, West Indies and Bangladesh soon to be followed by South Africa). India, I await your reply. is this a repenting post? Link to comment

Yoda-esque
Both us and Australia invented cricket. As in Highlander " there can be only one". During the 80's test results between the two sides was 86/87 to them in wins. The pulled away in the 90's onwards. India have never won in Australia so they can't be considered a rival. Maybe in a 1000 years from now when India win there first test series down under, me and you can reincarnate and perhaps change our opinion. If the ODI WC existed in the 19th century we'd have about 15 wc's by now so irrelevant. A population of 1billion young man. You guys should be the Brazil of cricket and yet you're the San Marino. Cricket is a religion in your country, over here it's only played by people with privileged backgrounds. And yet we beat your asses 4-0.:bhangra: Cricket and Soccer comparisons India -> Brazil (Play with Flair ,have won WC mulltiple times, crazy supporters,Money) Pakistan->Argentina (Equally talented as India but cheat ) Australia -> Germany (Disciplined and always dominate all tourneys) England->England ('nuff said) Sri Lanka-> Spain(nation that produces great players, exceptional talent) SA -> Portugal (big players that fail on the big stage) NZ -> South Korea(always surprises, plays as a unit, fast and agile) BD-> Serbia and Montenegro Link to comment

Dhonuts Dhoni
:cantstop: whole world hates england :hysterical: Australia's "rivalry" with England is just to make them feel important. It's an interesting fact that their decreasing relevance on the world stage is a function of the time since the invention of cricket. They are literally so bad that it ruined their empire.
