Pietersen v. Tendulkar

Nasser attempting comparisons between Pietersen and Tendulkar asks Shastri who he thinks the better batsman is right now? Followed by who will end up the greater player ? He points out Pietersen has the higher average after 28 matches. What a fcking knob.

Shastri, to be fair, said Pietersen certainly had the attributes to be great but he'd have to sustain this form over a decade. He also rebutted Hussain's comments on early career stats pointing out Tendulkar started playing at 16. The one thing all the Haydens, Gilchrists, Pontings, and Pietersen's have in common is they only seem to get the fullsome praise ONCE the statistics take shape. With Tendulkar the stats were incidental to his batsmanship. You only had to watch him wield that bat to orgasm.

He won't be another Tendulkar, but for the next decade he will undoubtedly be the best batsman in the world. KP is a freak, a monster. He has all the shots and one hell of an attitude to go with it. He has already humbled the best bowlers in the business, and with other teams going through transistion he will unstoppable. I don't blame the English for orgasming over KP - for they have never had a player who they could convincingly rate as the best batsman in the world. Until now.
