Re: Top 5 cricket grounds in the world are..... 1. Lords 2. Eden Gardens 3. MCG 4. SCG 5. chennai in terms of the tradition..the support of the crowd...the knowledge of the crowd... the passion of the crowd...and the history attached to it... never heard any international player except pakistanis that they like lahore or pindi or multan.... there is no history or tradition or charm attahced to any of the pakistani stadiums...they might have few good grounds with good facilities..but thats about it..nothing special... you should ask me..how it feels to be inside eden gardens compound...that imposing structure... you truly feel like a gladiator..

Re: Top 5 cricket grounds in the world are..... 1. Chepauk: Always produces sporting tracks and nail biters associated with such tracks. The crowd is one of the best anywhere in the world. If only the BCCI could use their brains while scheduling matches there in the monsoon. 2. MCG: The crowd and atmosphere there is simply superb on Boxing Day. One can really feel the passion of test cricket. The pitch's quality measures up in quality of the atmosphere and invariably offers excellent test cricket. 3. Headingly: Has seen some of the greatest moments in test cricket. Quality batsmen score well and quality bowlers do well. Typifies English cricket with its laid back and elegant character. 4. Mohali: In terms of infrastructure, one of the best grounds in the world and by far the best in India. The lush green outfield is a wonderful sight and so are the low floodlights. Produces great ODIs though the test track does not deteriote as much as one would like to see in a test. 5. Cape Town: The table top mountain in the backdrop with mist and clouds covering it and a bouncy wicket and lush green outfiled provides one of the most beautiful sights in cricket.
