MundaPakistani
The Afridi thread reminded me of his famous 37 ball century and how even in this era with tiny boundaries and teams like Bermuda, USA etc no batsman has even come close to breaking this record. So other than this record which other cricketing records you think will be very difficult to break. In terms of individual innings/match records the ones that i think will be very hard to break are - Lara's 501* - Jim Laker's 19 wickets in a match. - Hanif's Mohammed's 970 minutes long innings. - Lara's 400* - Astle's double hundred - Gibbs's 6 sixes. -Afridi's ton Career records - Bradman's average. - Sachin's tons in ODI cricket. - Sachin's runs in ODIs. - Murali's wickets(how ever many he ends up with) in test cricket. Team records - AUS's 3 world cups in a row - AUS's record for the consective test wins. - WI's record for the most undefeated series in a row(from 1980 to 1995). Link to comment

Predator_05
- Lohmann's record of 35 wickets in 3 match Test series. 93 years and counting. Harbhajan Singh came close with 32 vs AUS in '01. - First 100 Test wickets in 16 Tests. Another 90 year old record set by Lohmann. ...and the most un-breakable one of all, a 150 year old record --> A match haul of 14/57 (that is right - 14 wickets for 57 runs) on debut by some dude named Lillywhite. This one will never be broken. Link to comment

Bumper
Career records will be the hardest to break. Bradman's average looks like the most unscalable one. Among individual records, Lara's 501 would be the hardest to beat, as it requires prolonged spell of concentration and good batting. Among team records, Aussie's test winning streak will be the hardest to beat. You missed mentioning one more team record (Australia's undefeated world cup winning streak -- that will be very hard to beat as well) Link to comment
gator
Bowling all rounder records are the hardest to beat IMO .... Kapils 400+5K runs being the hardest ... Bheems.... there is a slim chance tht Polly might break it.... he needs another 1200 runs..... if he is around for another 3 yrs or so... slim chance though... he is already sitting on 34 yrs...
