Cricketics
Some brilliant pace stuff today from both. All in vain but I was impressed with Varun and Yadav has been already bowling good. Should be our regular in ODI

Executioner
Impressed by these guys. Feel bad for Aaron, if the Irfan didnt let the catch go out of hand, he wud have better figures But everyone knows very well why Irfan dropped it
Number
Rookies but still much better than jokers we field. I can watch them bowling even if they go for runs. Aaron had to miss out on A tour, hope he gets selected for Sri Lanka in july for ODIs and T20s.
PaceAttack
Wow. Just wow. I am so happy now. We can shut the pakis for good.
vvvslaxman
Two things.. Can they sustain their pace for slightly longer version of games. Umesh looks like he could. Second can they remain injury free like Steyn, Morkel for a relative long period.

rkt.india
Consistency is the area they both need to work on along with pace and maintain their fitness. These three aspect of fast bowling fitness, pace, consistency.
Magneto
Did Aaron look strong and fit today? Could he bowl 140+ consistently?
Number
Simon Doull (former NZ pacer) : India has 3-4 good pace bowling prospects. They should be encouraged to bowl fast.
cameron_black
good pace, but should improve discipline with regards to line.
jairamesh
These bowlers have always been there but there is no directive policy either from BCCI Selectors, Coaching or Dhoni to groom these guys to produce the goods for sustained period of say....minimum 4 years. Guys like Munaf and Sreesanth were always 140plus bowlers but poor injury management has made them sacrifice their speeds. Another guy I would love to see get regular games in IPL is Abu Nechim, he has better control than both Aaron and Yadav and bowls regularly around 140 mark. maniac
I was the biggest Anti PK here but after watching him bowl in England....He would be a perfect fit to complement Umesh and Varun in most conditions if he gets back the same form he was in July 2011...or an Irfan Pathan circa 2003-2005 for the additional X factor he brings in. Having Ishanth,Varun,Umesh in the same team would make the attack too one-dimensional. Please keep VK,Mithun etc far away from the team......Still hope for Dinda though
Needforspeed
Aaron has kept his word. He did not sacrifice his pace even after injury. The one that got Gambhir was 147 K and as usual with Aaron it was clean bowled. I hope he can keep himself fit. Yadav has already proved himself. Just needs to finetune a bit. Poor captaincy by Veeru. He should've continued Aaron for the full spell, instead of bringing on Pathan. By the time he came back, the match was almost over. vvvslaxman
They need to use short deliveries as a surprise weapon than a regular thing
express bowling
Umesh -- fastest 151.5 k and lots of deliveries between 147 k to 150 k. He was really quick today which largely made up for his random mindless deliveries. Aaron -- fastest 147.4 k and lots of deliveries between 140 k to 143 k. After an injury -- not bad at all. He was getting steep bounce off a good length and making the batsmen hop and jump. Plus, he tried to bowl to a plan and often succeeded. 3 genuinely quick bowlers bowling in tandem was a treat to watch.
