I hope my love affair with Eden continues! : Bhajji.

Our roller coaster in the IPL season five continues. We managed some exceptional wins and lost some one-sided games. The game against Royal Challengers Bangalore was one of those where nothing clicked for us. We were asked to bat first on a wicket with some juice and assistance to the bowlers. Credit to the Royal Challenger bowlers who bowled in good areas to extract the maximum out of the surface. As a result, we lost some wickets upfront and were immediately under pressure to repair the damage. The experience of Zaheer Khan and the youthful exuberance of R Vinay Kumar was on the coin to peg us down. This game doesn't give you much time to settle and on a wicket like this, with few wickets down, you need some time. But that luxury wasn't available and we kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Dinesh Karthik played a sensible knock and with the help of some late surges we managed a score which could have been challenging. But nothing is challenging when a certain Chris Gayle is in the mood. His range, his shot selection and calmness under all circumstances is exemplary. According to me, he is one of the most emotionless destructive players in the game right now. Ads By Google The other player who comes close to him is our very own Virender Sehwag. They both look so detached with the proceedings while wreaking such havoc on the bowling attacks. For them even the bad balls race to the boundary and the good balls fly further. If they have decided, nothing can stop them. All you have to do is bowl in the right areas and not to give them any half chances. We couldn’t do much and the Gayle storm swept everything away. Bygones are bygones and we have to move ahead. After playing few games at home we are out of our fort and ready to take on Kolkata Knight Riders in their own den. They are one of the strongest sides in the tournament and are on a winning streak. We would try our level best to stop their good run. Whatever I have seen at Eden this season, run making won’t be that easy on this surface. The wicket is slightly on the slower side and is offering some turn. Talking about Eden, it has to be certainly one of my most favourite grounds in the world. All through my career, Eden has been a very lucky ground for me. My special relation with Eden started with a hat trick in 2001 and with each outing the bonding has become stronger. I am hoping my love affair with this field of dreams will continue to flourish in this game as well.

I think Gambhir wants to make sure that Yusuf Pathan never plays for India again..The more failures he has in this IPL' date=' the less are his chances of making it to the Indian team. :winky:[/quote'] I think they are just waiting for him to maybe make an impact in the finals but hes contract wont be renewed if he fails which is more likely

SRT should have taken the strike rather than Gibbs who is playing his first game' date=' especially against a spinner.[/quote'] he never takes strike in first ball ...strategy is not one thing you can't buy using $$$$$$$$
